.
Russia have 5 fighters in the women category: Irina Valieva, Anna Vishnyakova, Olga Ivanova, Natalia Sozykina, and Julia Trushina. If we look to the Lithuaninan team, they have 7 fighters: Rita Pivoriunaite, Gabija Gudeliauskaite, Nora Vaznelyte, Inga Mikstaite, Diana Balsyte, Diana Maciute and Ruta Brazdzionyte.
These two teams stands for almost 1/4 part of the fighters in the Championship, and if we had added Japan to it, we would be half way through the line up. just to get a little overview.
The Russian team are from Region Russia (as most know in WKO the Russian region are not a part of Europe, as many other organizations have) The Lithuanian team from region Europe, have over 50% of the fighters from the European Region. All fighters at the World Championship will naturally be top fighters from their country, and region.
