Team Japan – 13th World Championship
Team Japan are ready for the 13th World Championship. 20 fighters in the men’s category and 9 in the women’s category. The level are as always extremely high, proven to be among the best in the World.
Road to the 13th World Championship
The first selection in 2022, December, gave us the first 8 fighters in the women division from the European region.The road to the 13th World Championship has began.

We have tried to collect all results from the World championship in weight categories, or World Cup as many of us still call it. The results itself are of interest, but a another thing is when one goes trough the history of the event itself – and how it has developed from 1997 and up to now. To color it more than just statistics, we have also added some video material – some commercial films, and some video from the tournaments themselves. It’s all yours.. Results

It would be hard to tell how such a great championship will turn out – but we will at least take a little closer look at the fighters, the draw and maybe also get to “know” some new fighters as well..
