This time we will take a look back at the European Championship in open weight, held in Oradea, Romania 2013. The European Championship in open-weight has always been a very interesting tournament. Not only because it is a EC with a very high level,but often fighters that not fight each other at the regular basis now comes up against each others. The line up in front of this EC was very strong and everyone speculate early on who would be the winner, and who could face who.

Mazovia MAX 80 – Back in 2014
It seems naturally to follow up the last article – MAX 70, and continue with the MAX 80, held some years later. This time, as the tittle describes, we had the pleasure to watch the middleweight fighters of Europe go up against each other. Like 2011, a very competent women division – even harder competed i an Open-weight category. Once again the Tomasz Basiak Shinkyokushin Team held a fully professional event!

Back in 2011, a highly professional tournament was held i Poland. Mazovia MAX 70, was i lightweight tournament with some of the best fighters in Europe. In the women division it was no limit regarding to the weight – so in that case we had an open-weight tournament. In both categories men and women, 1500 USD was the top prize!

We have tried to collect all results from the World championship in weight categories, or World Cup as many of us still call it. The results itself are of interest, but a another thing is when one goes trough the history of the event itself – and how it has developed from 1997 and up to now. 3rd EFKO Camp – Romania 2020
The 3rd edition of the European Fullcontact Karate Organisation Camp will be held in Romania this time, Sibiu, Romania. As previous editions, the camp have a prominent line up of high profiled instructors, and naturally Romania are strongly represented by they very best. 5th – 7th June, 2020.

Once again, one of the northernmost Full Contact tournaments was held – Bergen, Norway. The event is top class from the organizer, and for almost twenty years the Bergen Karate Club has served this yearly. This year’s event brought together athletes from Poland, Sweden and the whole of Norway.
