The road to 13th World Karate Championship has began, two weeks ago Europe started to shape their team, now the Japan will do the same! With that focus,The 54 All Japan Open Karate Championship should be interesting for everyone across the world.
Shinkyokushin Open Weigh EC will always have a high status. The “Open-Weight” includes so many factors that one have to be very competent to be successful. We find the Open-Weight in the World Championship, All japan Open and the EC – as some of the most interesting tournaments to watch – This years winner has been in all of them.

Shinkyokushin Open Weight EC was held Saturday 3rd December, Poland. Organized in/by Kokoro Cup format – tournament. As one could expect, some fall outs during the last time in towards the tournament was a fact. After a World Championship in September – one could not be surprised. Luckily the mass of fighters and the level are very satisfying!

We saw many good fights in the 7th World Championship last weekend. One of the absolute favorite fights for our sake was Dimitrov vs Artyushin. When you are slightly above average interested in this, you quickly remember whether similar fights have taken place – and yes, they met in The 4th World Championship as well. Women + 60 kg category – seventeen fighters from eleven nation. The heaviest category in the women division have three world champions among the fighters in the line up, and now we will get another one! This category, in this championship with this line up, will give the value of this world tittle sky-high.
Men Middleweight -75 kg category with many profiles from different regions. Japan, Europe and Central Asia have some very highly merited fighters in this category. In this category one must be ready for top fight in the first round already. This is an example when one have a championship with only qualified fighter in the line up – the fuse are lit..
Women middleweight -55 kg – a category stacked with top fighters from all over the world. That include world champion IFK, and world champion KWU and top of that WKO world champion – no once but twice.
