Shinkyokushin Kazakhstan organized the 6th World Championship in weight categories a year ago. Not only organizing a great event, they did also enter the podium with many of their top fighters. This summer some of their fighters competed in the Asian Open Championship 2018 – and once again…

The championship had several nations and organisations at the line up, hosted by Kyokushin-Kan. Some of the Shinkyokushin Kazakhstan profiles as Ilya Yakovlev did not let anyone down, and once again he took the tournament victory after winning the final against Iranian fighter Farshad Shahyari

Besides this gold medal, the Shinkyokushin Kazakhstan team reached two more top spots. Well known fighter and champion Merey Suyunov took the second gold, and the third came with Lyudmila Ustyugova. Check out more picture from Alexandr Medvedev.
