But surprising was this not enough, and a extension was called out resulted in victory to Rita Pivoriunaite.
Women middleweight
This is a really hard class, and it is several strong fighters from different countries. Ruta Brazdzionyte from Lithuania on top, moving up to middleweight this year, and she can add this 1st place with the second place she took last year. Meet an old rival early in the tournament in Cecilia Wallin, and this fight was long and hard. Close to loose, Ruta Brazdzionyte wins a dead even fight against Wallin and fights Romanian fighter Dan Acka, Anastasiia Khrustalova, Ukraine, before Bulgarian Yanitsa Stefanova. Stefanova very impressing in her way to the final, possesses brutal power and knock`s heavy favorite Helga Toth out of the tournament. Misses this in the final, but this is a fighter to follow.
Women Heavyweight
At last Szepesi Csenge from Hungary – European Champion. Wins the final against a very god Agata Kaliciak from Poland. Kaliciak knocking out Edit Abraham with a good Mae Geri jodan. 3rd place to Viviana Chirila from Romania and Christina Buchholtz from Denmark. Both with good fighting skills. The finale between Csenge and Kaliciak becomes a little anticlimax. To much will and this resulted in holding and pushing. But the heavyweight turns out to be a very strong category!
