All Russia Championship in Weight Categories was held i December 2016. The level of the Russian fighters, their level is very good,and in Europe it is very interesting to follow – since they do not have them in the EC. And not least now that we are up to this summer’s World Championships in weight classes. And many thinks that Russia will enter with some of the favorites..

Russian top name would be Nazar Nasirov. Through 2016 he had some very notable wins, and maybe the most talked about win was the Russian Open Weight. But this video from the WKO Shinkyokushin Youtube Channel, is the final of the weight category.

An another strong profile in the Russian team:Khasai Magamedov. Winning the KWU EC Championship in 2016 against top Kyokushin Kan fighter Ivan Komanov, and Omar Magomedov. Also winning against top WKO Kazakhstan fighter Dimitriy Moisseyev.
