Carpathia Cup 2018 – Polish Open

27th of January, 2018 – the Carpathia Cup – Polish Open will be held. This tournament has grown significantly in recent years, and a little look at the fact`s and numbers point that out. With 500 athletes in the line up, all ages, competing at eight Tatemies – Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Sweden, Russia and Poland of course. Several top fighter of Europe attended last edition last time, keep the calendar clear for this one!

Kyokushin – going North!

This weekend – “as we speak”, Jimmie Collin shares his experience in Kyokushinkai  Full Contact Karate in Kiruna Karate Kai – the the northernmost Dojo in Sweden! The Kick Off Seminar attracts Karatekas from All over Sweden, and from Norway as well. We have mention this before, an does it again because this is a very good example how we should work.

This region of Sweden are spreading the Kyokushin Karate out to more people – as we all should do! And this seminar are just one of the top`s that are planned..we will come back with more!

Kata seminar NKO 4-5 November

Lørdag og søndag 4/5 November er det klart for Kata seminar som blir avholdt i Modumhallen, arrangør Modum Kyokushinkai Karateklubb, NKO region Øst. Åpnet for alle klubber og organisasjoner.

Instruktører vil være Robin Thompson (Sverige) og Bård Brodshaug (Horten) Robin Thompson er en av Sveriges sterkeste Kata utøvere, og har lang og solid erfaring fra turneringer nasjonalt og internasjonalt i en årrekke. Bård Brodshaug, godt kjent i vårt miljø i Norge, med er solid all round kunskap og alltid oppdatert på det faglige.

Camp Banzai 2017!

The 3rd edition of Camp Banzai, Goteborg, Sweden was held the weekend 11-13 August 2017. The camp attracted participant from Norway, Denmark and of course Sweden. The warm hospitality of Banzai Kyokushin Karate are some of the vital essence in this event, but top international instructors also raises the interest of the camp.

This years main attraction was non other than Yuki Maeda, Japan. Winner of the 26th, 27th and 28th All Japan Weight Categories, and winner of the JFKO 1st,2nd and 3rd All Japan Weight Tournament. Member of Japan National team.

Kyokushin Open Norway 2018

Kyokushin Open Norway 2018 will be held in Bergen, Norway 14th April!

Organized by the oldest Kyokushin Dojo in Norway, Bergen The Kyokushin Open have a great history of international fighting. Two years back Poland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway attended the tournament, several organisations, styles and independent full contact practitioners joined. Last year new nations entered the tournament, as Hungary and Italy joined!

And ladies – sharpen your shins, as before in this tournament there will be no shin-protection in the women`s category.

The 49th All Japan Open 2017

October 14th (Sat) and Sunday 15th (Sun) in 2017, The 49 All Japan Open Tournament will be held in Tokyo, Japan. This legendary tournament with great traditions has always held a very high standard, and winners are highly regarded.

In the last edition, 94 fighters was fighting for the top spot in the men`s division, and 29 in the women`s division. Among the line up,, several champions was to see, and fighters from many Full-contact organizations participated in the tournament – and made it if possible even harder!

Youth Tournaments 2017

We recently witness a spectacular Dream Festival 2017, who gathered 2318 participants! The number of participants and the festival grows for each year and it is not possible to image how much work that is put down! We know that this will be followed up by the Hungarian Dream Cup in September, and the European Championship U-22 and cadets in Poland, November. Dream Cup in Hungary will not only apply to the younger age, but also to fighters in the “Old Masters Categories” Latest now: Kaunas Karate Championship 2017 also are added to the scheduled..
