Having been fighting in Japan with success for a number of years, Hug became extremely popular in the country. The fans were impressed by his technical diversity, spectacular aesthetics, tactics and strength. In 1992, he made the switch from Kyokushinkaikan to Seidokaikan Facing another of his previous opponents from the ’92 Seido World Cup, he beat Minoru Fujita by decision at K-1 Sanctuary III on June 25, 1993. Magnus Hanssen Sempai and Jimmie Collin Sempai are ready for the Norwegian Shinkyokushin Summercamp 2014! We are pleased to announce that Jimmie Collin Sempai and his trainer and coach Magnus Hanssen Sempai, will participate as instructors at this year’s summer camp. OPEN Shinkyokushin – CARPATHIA CUP 2014 – results and video
On 18 January 2014, the fourth edition of the tournament organized by the CUP CARPATHIA Rzeszow Club Martial Arts System. The tournament was attended by 235 athletes from Austria, Belarus, Ukraine, Hungary and the Poland, Federations such as IFK, Matsushima, Oyama, Seido, Sosai, Shin, Tezuka, Rengokai, Union. The official opening of the tournament made the vise ambassador of Japan Mr. Hiroshi Matsushima and Mr.Dariusz Grandpa. Judge Main Event was Shihan Remigiusz Karpinski.

As previously announced, the Norwegian summer camp will be held June 20 to 23. We have been lucky several times, for some of the best instructors have joined the previous years as instructors. Luck has not left us here in Norway, and this year’s main instructor is from Spain..
