He is known for his progressive style of karate, and it is not few karate highlights to be found around the net. This is Norichikas 4th world championship, and everyone knows he won the 6th in 1996. Since then, one can conclude that it has become even harder to reach the top. But if you look Norichika Sensei’s achievements in the world tournament relation, we see him always to be reckoned with in the top echelon. In four world tournaments, he has not been lower than among the top 16. This includes two 7th places, one among the 16 and a 1st place. Those who have obstructed Norichika advancement is not just anyone; Roman Nesterenko, Valeri Dmitrov and Toru Okamoto…

37 years young, this incredible performer have become, and many wonder whether he is facing his last world tournament. But of course the biggest ? is: how is he going to act in THIS World Championship?
Norichika Tsukamoto Sensei at his grading test 2010. Competing at this level that he (and others) do can easily be the one and only focus. So grading to San-Dan have of course fit the schedule. Maybe not the commend picture we have in mind when we think of Tsukamoto Sensei, doing basic.

Its naturally that a person like this will gain big popularity, and Tsukamoto Sensei is at the top og the wish list around the hole world. And that is something that will last for many years to come.
