“MADARSKI KONNIK” 2013
FOR ADULTS. KUMITE and KATA
27 th of april 2013  in Shumen, Bulgaria.The Tournament will take place in Shumen, Bulgaria at the Mladost Sports Hall

 

A great opportunity for those who want to start their full contact career. It can be set up and meet athletes on equal terms. It can be very hard to compete in an open international tournament, without having built up some experience first.

A smart solution is also forming a 65kg category, when you consider that those who participate in the senior class for the first time (lightweight) often lack a few kilos, this is well thought out as well.

KUMITE
Weight categories are as follows:

Kumite, men (born until 27th of april 1995 and older) 
the number of competitors is unlimited
Men Super lightweight              – 65 kg
Men Lightweight                        – 70 kg
Men Middleweight                     – 80 kg
Men Heavyweight                      – 90 kg
Men Super Heavyweight           +90 kg

Kumite, ladies (born until 27th of april 1995 and older)
 the number of competitors is unlimited
Ladies Lightweight                    – 55 kg
Ladies Middleweight                 – 65 kg
Ladies Heavyweight                  +65 kg

The rules will be the International Knock Down standard competition by the rules of EKO.

Only competitors with kyu grades, who have NOT participated in European Championships for men and women, World Championships or World Cup are allowed to enter the tournament.

The following protection will be compulsory:

Kumite Men :           Groin supporter (no shin supporters)
Kumite Ladies:        Breast protection (the cup type),
white shin /instep protection and groin guard

The fight will be 3 minutes and each extension will be 2 minutes.

PRIZES

The best, the second and two third best competitors win a cup, a medal and a certificate + Extra prizes .

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS IN THE TOURNAMENT FOR FIGHTERS
All competitors are requested to present a written medical certificate (in English, Russian or Bulgarian language ) indication that he or she is physically fit and healthy.
All women are requested to present a written certificate of non pregnant state   (in English, Russian or Bulgarian language )
KATA
By the rules of WKO – direct eliminations , Judges and Referees are giving their decisions by banners.
No limitations for the competitors grades and experience

All costs for accommodation will have to be paid by yourselves and the participants respectively. Payment must be made on arrival at the hotel.

If you arrive in Bulgaria by air plane at Varna airport there will be a bus service to the hotel. It will be provided also for your departure back to the airport. This service costs 10 euro per person in one direction.
