This weekend the Lithuanian federation organized their national championship. Or more accurate, it’s still on. Sunday 29th November, the Junior will be fighting for the top positions, as today the adults and U-20 was in the spotlight. The seniors was also split into B category (less experienced) A category – top level.
I these times, with the Crorona virus shutting down the regular activities – it’s nice to see that a good championship can be organized and held. The favorites did showed their class, and secured the tittles once again. Gerda Pekarskaitė ,Domas Sutkus, Kęstutis Radvila and Brigita Gustaitytė all champions. That said both Brigita Gustaitytė and Domas Sutkus faced some competition – Gustaitytė had to go trough to extensions before she could get the victory vs only challenger in the category Rima Lisinskaitė. Sutkus on his side, was challenged by Laurynas Vaičikauskas, who showed good fighting with nice variations.
