With some days left to the closing date of registration, the Kyokushin Open Norway has fighters from Poland, Denmark and Sweden. Some of the best from Norway will also attend… with closing date 1st April, some more fighters will come… will you?!
We will take a look at some of the fighters that is ready…
firs of all, this is not a big tournament at world class level. But fighters from tournaments as Swedish, Danish, Scottish Opens are all ready signed up. Some of the fighters do also have experience from European Championship and World Championship.
From Poland we have this year runner up in the heavy weight category Arkadiusz Ostrega, WKO Shin Poland. A strong technical fighter with stamina and power to back it up. Proven in Scottish, but a big win for him was this years Polish Open 2016 Karate Carpathia Cup.
From Denmark, in the heavy weight category Fredrik Gade. This is a young talented Ashihara karate fighter, proven to be very skilled and promising. Winning the Scottish Open novice two years in a row is very good, and doing it before he turned 18 makes it even more impressive! Also to see inn the Danish Open 2015.
This year several of his fights as ended before full time in the Scottish Open (January 2016)

From Sweden, Luleå Ashihara ⇐ Max Engberg. This fighter from Ashihara Sweden fight in the light weight division. Do have international experience, and have fought under Kyokushin and Ashihara rules, as a junior and senior. Technical and explosive with Ashihara`s good movements.
From the same Dojo in Sweden Klas Söderström, fighting in the middle weight.

From Norway owns Kyokushin fighters we have several fighters from different kind of Dojos, and organizations. Some of the most experienced fighter from Norway, will be in the heavier divisions. Norway may not be a big Kyokushin nation, but active fighters are to find.Two from NKO Shinkyokushin Norway will fight in the heavy category.
⇐Tor Andrè Kvinge and Kristian Søyland . Both represented Norway in the last World Tournament in Japan 2015. Kvinge being one of the veterans, and has been fighting around in several tournaments. 3rd place in the Diamond Cup 2009, lost to top level Lukas Kubilius Lithuania. Represented Norway in European Championship 2009, Ukraine. Fought in Danish Open (09,15) Swedish Open 2010. Runner up in the Scottish Open last year (2015) countless national titles.
⇐Kristian Søyland (right) miss Kvinges long time fighting, but will soon get it if he keeps up his game. Fought in Danish Open 2015, lost against top fighter brian Jakobsen Denmark. Broke his leg in the 11th World Championship, and fought most of the fight with that injury. Back in the game in the national championship this year (march) and hungry to show his skills..
Ashihara Denmark, Daniel Neumann. A veteran in the game, with countless tournament in his luggage. Usually fights in the middle weight division. Neumann has been fighting for many years, and do have great routine. He has been fighting in Kyokushin tournaments as well as Ashihara tournaments. Fighting around the world, Daniel Neumann holds tournament victory in Japan among others..

Nkko KWF Eivind Nærland ⇒Strong solid fighter, with good international experience and merits. Runner up i the KWF European Championship last year, also fought in Swedish Open, Diamond Cup and Danish Open. Several times Norwegian Champion, last time in 2016 March.

Women division are also ready for more fighters! Top three of the Norwegian fighters will be ready, Norwegian Champion Stine Haugsdal, Scottish Open novice winner Mithra Amilthalingham and Jeanette Johannessen winner of Norwegian Cup 2015.
Top of this other Norwegian fighters are also ready, and Poland and Denmark are also represented!
