Just writing Oradea, Romania gives us giving us immediate associations to full contact Kyokushin karate top level – as we have mention before. If you take a quick look over your shoulder – recap the last years camps with all included, the total package will give you the answer: “MUST go camp”
3-5 February 2023, Oradea, Romania
If you do not recall exactly how previous camps has been, we will give you a hand. Back in 2018 – the camp had some prominent guest, the spearhead of the Swedish national team in the lead of Magnus Hanssen Sensei. Hanssen with Jimmie Collin shared experiences, tactics and their knowledge.

Back in 2019, one of Romania’s own top Karatekas entered the instructor role, Cristian Boldut Sensei. Again a top level camp, and practitioners came from close to far away to increase their level, met others and prepare for their next goal
The camp in 2020 had visitors from Hungary and Bulgaria, and yes the strongest full-contact Karate record ever: Valeri Dimitrov Shihan with coach Dimitar Trampov Shihan did the roles as instructors. The camp attracted about 150 Karatekas – with no doubt at a significant level.

In 2022, last year local retired top fighter of the World Marius Ilas Sensei was the instructor, and once again – it is all about keeping the top level and give the contenders a optimal camp. Retired maybe – but always up to date.
So, this year Harris Wallmen Sensei will be the man in charge, and one can expect top level with a deeper thought behind it all. Said as a joke, it has come up “creative Karate madness” based on a little tough that if you are too afraid to loose, you will never dare to try something new. If no one tries something new, it will slow down, and stop. When we stop – it is all over. But to manage to reach this stage, one have to be willing to sacrifice something in the start – to get the bonus in the end.
