Riri Ishihara recently won the World Championship – lead by her father Tadashi Ishihara. By winning the World Championship, Riri copied her father from 1997, where he won the very first World Championship in weight categories.
Recently we had the pleasure to watch the best fighters if the world challenge each other for the World Championship tittle in Weight Categories. A really nice setting was how Ishihara Tadashi Shihan followed his daughter to her victory in the women -60 kg category.

Being the very first to win the World Championship in Weight Categories (At the time called World Cup) taking the tittle back in 1997, Chiba, Japan – men middleweight. Riri Ishihara vs Ruta Brazdzionyte, the final of the Light heavyweight category was something to look forward to. Both well merited, and seemed very well prepared. Brazdzionyte with what on could assume as an very physically strong fighting style – Ishihara well known for eminent technique and high pace.
