To build up an event with quality takes time. This means that one must dedicate themselves to hard work over a long time. This is known to all the Kyokushin world. The German winter camp is a good example of this, where it has been built up through hard work over time.

For most people it is no problem to think about a training camp in the summer. Nice weather, the sun is high on a blue sky, temperature is good, and maybe you even work out on a beach and jump in the water after or during exercise!

To arrange a camp, no matter what time of year, you have to have a suitable place and a bunch of people who pull the right strings. There is much to be in place to maintain a good standard. And it has to be, otherwise there will not be any next year.

When you organize something, it helps tremendously to have their own resources. The German camp has several of this. On the instructor side, Muzaffer Bacak Sensei. Nothing is better than to offer a top instructor from their own Karate environment.

Midori Kenji Shihan was the main instructor in 2011.When you get a visit from the president of the organization, then the acknowledgment for the work that is done is total. This is something all event searching, but not everyone gets. But the path is clear: work hard over a long time, and you would receive your gain.

Top European instructors crowned the camp in 2013, and Belgium and Germany had their best in front line. Muzaffer Bacak Sensei, Sensei Christoph Wortmann and Shihan Koen Spitaels. This year was the 9th camp in line, and great plans was announced about the 10th camp the next year…
