Georgian team in the lead of WKO Branch Chief Levan Tsintsadze made a strong statement in the KWF World Championship 17 & 18 November, The Netherlands. Kazakhstan and Sweden did also show great results.
Georgian team – no rest!
We are used to see intense, strong and passionate fighting from the Georgian team – all over the world. Recently we witness young Davit Mskhaladze coming into the top 16 in the 13th World Championship WKO in Japan.
But there is no rest for the hardworking Georgian team, as they this weekend entered the KWF World Championship, held in The Netherlands. This was held in weight categories, and Georgia took the titles in three categories! Photo: Okiem Sportowca
Superior victories with knock out as a result
Showing another level and and efficiency than their opponents, resulted in knock out victories in the semi and the finals of the tournament for the Georgian team. Davit Mskhaladze – Champion in youth men -90kg, Data Putkaradze – Champion in men -70kg, and Mindia Mgeladze – fought notable in the -70 kg youth men. Also in the team Lasha Shantadze and Levan Tsintsadze.

The veteran Ilya Yakovlev / Kazakhstan took the title in the heaviest category this weekend. Working his way, safe but sure to the top made him collect his second World Title in the KWF. Did get a rematch in the first fight, fighting Kevin Cid Alonso / Spain – they fought the final in the IFK World Championship last year – which Yakovlev also won.
