This weekend some well known Danish profiles tried to reach higher grades, and looking at some year since the last time some of them experienced a belt grading – about time many can many say. Well we can only assume that for an example that Brian Jakobsen and Benno Rasmussen made it through the fight session..hm 😉
We can start to congratulate new Sempai`s: (from Danish Facebook site)
Senpai Brian Jakobsen 2. dan Shinryokudan
Senpai Rasmus Rasmussen 2. dan Graasten Karate Klub
Senpai Ea Eriksen 2. dan, Shinkyokushinkai København
Senpai Eduardo Jensen 1. dan, Roskilde Karate Klub
Senpai Nico Hansen 1. dan Aabenraa Karate Klub
Senpai Nikolaj Jensen 1. dan Roskilde Karate Klub.
Tobias Brask 1. dan Shinryokudan
As we mention there has been some years since some of them was in this position, and we line up when those who went to 2nd Dan this weekend, was testing them self to 1st Dan
Shodan:
- Brian Jakobsen, Shinryokudan/ Shodan 2004 – 2nd Dan 2016
- Benno Rasmussen, Shinryokudan/ Shodan 2006 – 2nd Dan 2016
- Rasmus Rasmussen, Gråsten Karate Klub/ Shodan 2011 – 2nd Dan 2016
- Ea Eriksen, Kyokushinkai Kbh. Glentevej/ Shodan 2012 – 2nd Dan 2016
Why we bring this up as an article, is that all new 2nd Dan Sempais do are well known outside Denmark as well, and that will not be passed over without comment! All of them national team members in Kumite or/and kata.
