Danish Dynamite!

Recently we all noticed that the Danish Shinkyokushin team entered the Diamond Cup with a very strong team – maybe the strongest we have seen in a long time. But this did not happen over night. If we take a look back, and pick up the trail from the last results of the Danish team, we can clearly see that “something” is going on. It is also been worked out a cooperation agreement between them and Ashihara Denmark, to back each others tournaments and more. Ashihara in Denmark do also have many good Dojo`s, so this will whit out doubt lift the level even higher for all parts!

The Danish team did a strong impression in the 22nd BRANKO BOŠNJAK MEMORIAL. Taking the double victory in the men super heavyweight was the biggest eye opener. But other fighters from the team did also make the day red and white. We do also have to say, that the transition in the team between the established and the recent athletes also seems to go well. This makes it very interesting to follow further on..

Last tournament before Christmas, once again the Danish team made good results. This time it was in the Open de Bayeux 2017, France. Several nations and regions attended and the level was as always very good.

In the heaviest category, Fady Allan reached the final with really good fighting. Facing the reign champion and highly merited French top fighter Maxime Demeautis, the young Dane impressed the bystanders. It was stated after the fight that the final was a “final of the finals”

Denmark did also collect more metal that day, and who else than the veteran Benno Rasmussen?! Once again he shows that with extraordinary skills, smart fighting and a good base – the age will never bring you down.
