In two days the Swedish Open will be history! We are moving to the women categories, and like the men category – there are lot of good fighters, and nations as Poland, Lithuania, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway and of course Sweden are represented. Two categories under/over 65 kg – and we will look at the last category under 65 kg

In this category we have several fighters with records that will impress us all.

Marta Lubos, Poland

A highly technical performer, who always performs well in competitions. Very tournament active, and her frequent appearances are noticed by many: In 2014 she fought in three tournament in four weeks, Mas Oyama Memorial, Swedish Open and 12th Challenger Also getting special awards, has been seen more than one time. Entering the EC podium twice (14 & 2016) and also manage to take a strong 2nd place in the KWU EC 2016 and the spirit award. Lubos showed great technical variations, and high pace fighting. High spirit as she entered the Open Weight EC in 2014 as one of the lightest.

Magdalena Gustaityte, Lithuania

European Champion for juniors in 2015, and recently the winner of The European Open Szolnok Cup 2016. Do have a tremendous record as a junior, and it seems that it will continue at the senior level. Read full profile at BUDORA

Sanne Larsson, Sweden

Sanne have been in the top of the European Championship U22 twice , and she has also several titles an merits from Open tournaments. Have a very strong spirit and a passion fight style. Everyone that face her in tournament should be good prepared. Can she hold the Swedish Open title in Sweden?
