Fight Camp Denmark 2020

Either you have been here and know what this is – and then you will come back. And if you haven’t been here, you can only at least speculate on how the camp is. You have to feel it to believe it. Of course, it is many great camps around – but one need to create something special.. have the Danish Camp manage that? Well with twenty years a row, and waiting list to enter – the answer it quite clear!

Kyokushin Open Norway results & report

Once again, one of the northernmost Full Contact tournaments was held – Bergen, Norway. The event is top class from the organizer, and for almost twenty years the Bergen Karate Club has served this yearly. This year’s event brought together athletes from Poland, Sweden and the whole of Norway.

Lyudmila Ustyugova, one of Kazakhstan’s many good fighters. World Champion in 2018, KWF. World Champion in 2019 this time in KWU. Improving her her result from 2017 when she came in on 3rd place. 2017 was a very noticeable year, reaching the final in the 6th World Championship weight categories WKO. The only non Japanese entering the podium. A real statement knocking down 3 time All Japan Champion Kikukawa in the semifinal and entering the upper level of lightweight fighters of the world.

10 years ago: Look back at “Hungarian Open 2009”

Many said that the Hungarian Open was a tournament at such a high level, that it even could be compared to the European Championships. The tournament does not exist today in the same way, but it was arranged several times.In 2009 Hungarian Open was streamed LIVE, and with 149 competitors from 11 countries, (European countries, Russia and Kazakhstan) Four categories men and three women + Kata as well. and World Cup fighters, EC champions and more at the line up – this turn out to be a tournament way beyond the normal. 12th World Karate Championship

Closing in to the greatest event,keeping the full contact Karate tradition alive: A World Tournament in Open Weight – the excitement raises and the expectations have never been higher. It would be hard to tell how such a great championship will turn out – but we will at least take a little closer look at the fighters, the draw and maybe also get to “know” some new fighters as well.. Men D block. Remember: it is only speculation – based on previous records and fight.. We appreciate and warmly welcome when fighters disprove our speculation 🙂
