A Polish Champion, or “one of the best” in Poland, will always be associated with top elite level. Poland with great Kyokushin history and traditions, will without a doubt be one of the leading nations in Europe. But who would be the best in Poland? This weekend Polish Openweight Tournament was held to give us the answer… The tournament was streamed live, and this was done with one camera to each mat, covering the tournament professional, instead of a quasi solution that we have seen not long ago in other international tournaments.

In the line up there is several Champions and trophy winners from tournaments held recently, and of course fighters with solid record from years of fighting. For the past 17 years we have held this Fighting seminar. The focus is on all aspect of Shinkyokushin kumite. Everything from sparring, technique and stamina. The camp is a fantastic preperation for tournaments, gradings or just for self-development.
This year’s guest instructor will be Nazar Nasirov from Russia.
His merits speak for themselves:
6th place in the World Championship 2015, and Technical Award. Winning the Russian Open weight 2016, defeating the best of Russian fighters across organizations and weight.

Now, there are still a few months left of the year 2016, but despite that it is of great interest to look at how the activity level has been until now – and forward a bit. In the light of last year with World Tournaments in Japan, we could easily think that the activity this year wold drop a little bit… is this the case?
