NKO på Danish Fight camp 2022

Etter et år nede så var det klart for den årlige Danske Fight Campen i Kjøpenhavn. Årets utgave holdt noe lavere nivå enn normalt, men langt over norskt nivå som alltid. NKO var på plass, og det med utøvere fra flere klubber. NKO har vært fast innventar på denne campen i over 10 år, og den er fast punkt på årsagendaen for mange. Årets gjeste-instruktører var fra Polen og skuffet ikke!

Danish Fight Camp 2022

So – after one year break the Danish Fight Camp was up and go again! For many this was in matter of fact the last event before the (covid) lock down back i 2020 – and what a great way to kick it off again! The weekend 5-6 march was the date. Polish elite Karatekas of the world, Maciej Mazur and Konrad Kozubowski was the guest instructors this time – and the crowd was fired up and ready to go!

Tomodachi Camp 2022

29th – 31st of July – The Tomodachi Camp will be organized. After a covid-break, the camp are up and ready to go – together with the “Happy-campers” coloring it all. In beautiful surroundings one can participate in this camp, that clearly include everyone, and worship the meaning of Budo.

Shin Norway – out of isolation!

After almost two years with COVID-19 restrictions, The Norwegian Kyokushin Organisation / Shinkyokushin Norway came fully out of isolation! Many events has been cancelled, and the strength of the organisation have really been tested. Fighters from all over the country was gathered once again to train together.

Fight Camp Romania 2022

Helgen 18-20 Februar var det klart for den årlige fight-campen i Romania. Leiren holder meget høyt nivå, og tiltrekker seg utøvere, trenere og lag i og utenfor Romania. NKO sin representant, Marleen Gregusson var på plass for å nyte godt av fight ikonet Marius Ilas / Romania, som var instruktør i år. Og her samles det kompetanse ingen i Norge har per i dag, som NKO får nyte godt av fremover!

Fight-camp Norway 2022 – Bergen

Bergen Karate klubb arrangerte fightcamp helgen 18-19 Februar – som et erstattende arrangement til Kyokushin Open som måtte avlyses pga usikkerheten med Covid 19. Ikke mange -hvis noen, kan “snu på flisa” på så kort varsel og endre aktivitet. Med over 50 påmeldt til samlingen, så trenger man en kapasiitet som BKK som arrangør for å dra det av!

In The Memory of Andrey Materov

Ten years ago we received the very sad message, that Andrey Materov had passed away after been on the intensive care since 27th January. The night of 26 on January 27, Andrey, opening the door to a burning apartment and, thus, trying to save himself and his mother, received severe burns (95% of the body, of which 20% – deep) February 11, 2012 at the Regional Burn Center at about 7 am in the Krasnoyarsk time, Andrew has died 21 years old.

7th World Championship 2022 – Team Japan

36 fighters from Japan WKO are ready to the 7th World Championship in weight categories. Winning seven out of eight weight categories last edition in Kazakhstan 2017 – Japan, consider to be the number one heavy favorite this time as well. Not only possess Japan a very high level all over, but 36 fighters from the same nation does also weigh heavily in.
