Hungary starts of this fall semester with several highlight. Fighters are waiting for the Europa Open Szolnok Kupa, held 2.September, 2017.An very tough and high level tournament that all fighter will have on their record. But as it is now, not only sharped fighters should make place in the calendar. Shinichi Sotodate Shihan 6th Dan, will also have a Kata seminar during this weekend!

Shinichi Sotodate Shihan 6th Dan, was recently awarded 6th Dan for his long time hard work in the WKO, traveling around the world has been common.

Shinichi Sotodate Shihan 6th Dan have a long and strong Kyokushin history. Being top three (3rd place) at 1st  All Japan Weight Category Tournament 1984 (!) Also to find in the Open Weight All Japan Open, and was representing Japan in World Tournaments.

Did a strong impression in The 4th World Open Championship, reached top 16, in a very strong line up. Others at top 16 would be fighters as Midori Kenji, Yosihikazu Koi, Michel Wedel, Peter Smit to name a few.. In this tournament Shinichi Sotodate lost to the man who became the champion that year, Akiyoshi Matsui. Top 8 with (in order from 2nd and down) Andy Hug, Akira Masuda, Michael Thompson, Ademir Da Costa, Hiroki Kurosawa, Yasuhiro Shichinohe and Nicholas Da Costa. 

But in more recent time have e been used to see Shinichi Sotodate Shihan in countless seminars and camps all around the world. From weekend seminars to be the main instructor at several international summer-camps and more. Besides that he is also often to see at the WKO grading test, leading the fight sessions in the Kumite tests. And this also would be very naturally as he is a top referee who participates in Word Tournaments, All Japan Open etc.
