DREAM 14 |
Sakurai Mach Hayato vs Nick Diaz
Takaya Hiroyuki vs Joachim Hansen
Tokoro Hideo vs Nishiura Akiyo
Miyata Kazuyuki vs Otsuka Takafumi
fra int news:
In perhaps the biggest announcement of the day,
Hiroyuki Takaya (12-8-1) will face the Norwegian
Joachim Hansen (19-9-1). Takaya was a participant in
the Dream Featherweight Grand Prix beating Jong Won Kim, Yoshiro Maeda and Hideo
Tokoro enroute to the finals, before losing to Bibiano Fernandes via split
decision. At Dynamite!! 2009 he was beaten by Michihiro Omigawa early in the
first round. At DREAM.13, Joachim Hansen lost a split decision to Featherweight
Champion Bibiano Fernandes in a great match. He'll be looking to get back on
track, and quickly at that returning to the ring in just over two months since
his last fight.
Next up,
Hideo Tokoro (26-21-1) will meet Shooto fighter
Akiyo Nishiura (10-5-1). Tokoro also competed in the
Featherweight Grand Prix where he lost in the first round to Daiki Hata, was
brought back into the tournament and beat Abel Cullum in the second round before
losing to Hiroyuki Takaya in the semi-finals. His last fight was at Dynamite!!
2009 where he defeated Jong Man Kim by unanimous decision. "Wicky" Akiyo
Nishiura was another participant in the Featherweight Gran Prix losing in the
first round to Abel Cullum. He went on to beat Takumi Ota last May in Shooto
before dropping a majority decision to Gustavo Falciroli at a Shooto Australian
event.
And finally we'll see
Miyata Kazuyuki (8-7) taking on DEEP Featherweight
champion Takafumi
Otsuka (10-4-1). After losing at DREAM.1 Kazuyuki
returned to the DEEP promotion picking up wins over Jae Hyun So and Takeshi
Yamazaki. Last October he returned to compete at DREAM.11 scoring a victory over
Daiki Hata in the Featherweight GP reserve bout. Otsuka lost his first round
Featherweight Gran Prix match to Bibiano Fernandes and returned to DEEP landing
recent wins over Dokonjonosuke Mishima and Takeshi Yamazaki.
