The best Shinkyokushin nations in Europe were gathered in Croatia this weekend. Branka Memorial is a highly recognized tournament that has built up a reputation sit through nearly 20 years. The tournament is tough, challenging and well organized. Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, France, Greece and Croatia had fighters who fought for a place on the podium. This was the seventeenth time the tournament was held, and it was as always well merited practitioners with. Several European champions and winners of other major Open tournament.

Lightweight Men under 70 kg was won by ANDRIUS MISECKAS from Lithuania. He has for many years been among the best in this class seen in relation to the European level. Many assumed that men Heavyweight would be a minor division. This considering that the EC held open weight in a week. Whether if the class was smaller than expected, the level was good as hoped.
