Pontypridd School of Kyokushin Karate

 

Pontypridd School of Kyokushin Karate was founded by Shihan Alwyn Heath 6th Dan in 1976. Since then it has produced numerous Black belts and European, British, Welsh, English & Irish Champions. Sister club Llantrisant was founded in 1986.

The Kyokushin Tri cup on March 24th 2012 is part of Pontypridd's 35th Anniversary and is a competition

 between Pontypridd & Gotenburg &

 Tamashi Dojos. The first competition between Pontypridd and a French Team was over 20 years ago.

 Pontypridd v Gotenburg started an incredible

 30 years ago!
