Simular to the World Championship in the mens division, the women division also had som early exit from some of the favorites..

Big favorite Margarita Ciuplyte, Lithuania, took the way to the finals without much excitement.

Csenge Szepesi (Hun) waited for Margarita in the second round, but even with her strong record she could not stop Margarita from winning. She possesses all the features she needs, and fighting in the 65 kg division at the usual. This means that she is strong enough to cope with everyone she meets. And only on the strength .. if she adds the technique she possesses .. but as most know it ended in 2nd place. In the finals she met Shoguchi Emi, and for many it seemed that Margarita was not aggressive enough. Emi held a higher frequency and the difference was to count warnings to Japan's advantage.
